A fun way to physical and mental fitness for KiDs

KiDS FiT Summer Camps

Your beloved KiDS FiT Classes are also available during the holidays in our KiDs FiT SuMMeR CAMPS for children aged 6-14 years with an active, fun filled programme that develops both physical and mental skills in children, preparing them physically and mentally for life. We have a strength based approach where each child can bring in their strength and open up to learn from others and new skills. We will establish a good general fitness baseline, develop some foundational sports skills (such as bike skills, run technique, coordination, etc), instil a love of sport and outdoors, and develop some mental skills that will help us in life. We will also speak English and German to sharpen our awareness and conversational skills in both languages in a playful way. 

What are KiDs FiT Summer Camps

- Small group sizes of maximal 8 children
- Strength based programme: every child brings in their own strength, learns from others, and develops new skills 
- Project work: kids will work on a project over the week to create something together
- Varied activities to lay a broad foundation of skills
- Learning to work towards specific goals
- Instil a love of sport and outdoors
- General fitness as well as specific skill building to establish a good fitness and sport baseline: movement, coordination, bike handling, swim training, basic gymnastic moves, run technique, throwing/catching, etc) 
- Mental skills
- Themed excursions
- Playful language development of English and German
​- One session at the beginning of the holidays: Smooth transition out into the holidays to lay the right foundation for summer
​- One session at the end of the holidays: Smooth transitio
n back into a more structured approach again before schools start and be in a group setting with other kids again, setting up well for the school year ahead in a playful way

As with our regular KiDs FiT Classes, the programme at summer camp is uniquely designed to prepare kids physically and mentally for life. A solid foundation in life is laid in childhood: healthy habits, solid character, strong resilience. In our unique programmes, we combine physical and mental skills in a fun way - giving children a sound foundation for physical and mental fitness in life. 

Who is it for

Summercamps are suitable for school-aged children between 7 and 14 years old. We limit our numbers to a maximum of eight children to give the kids the full benefits of their week. 

Dates, Times & Location

There are two camps over the summer. Both will have different themes and activities. They can be booked together as a package or individually. The dates are chosen at the beginning of the summer holidays to allow the children to close their school year with a fun week to transition smoothly into the holidays and to lay the right foundation for summer. The second-last week of summer holidays is chosen so the children can be in a group setting with other kids again before school and get used to a more structured approach again, setting them up well for the school year ahead in a playful way. And you will still have the last week of holidays left to prepare everything you need for school. 
DATES: 
Summer Camp 1: 11.-15.July 2022
Summer Camp 2: 22.-26.August 2022

TIMES:
Mo-Fri 9-16h.
Early (8:30-9h) and/or late (16-17h) care possible upon request at a small extra fee. 

LOCATION: 
Schafberg: 1180 Wien, Molnargasse (Bus 42, meet in front of Schafbergbad)

Price & Booking 

The booking options are below. Prices include the whole week of individualised sports, fitness and mental skills development programme in German and English, a guided project the kids work on, and snacks, drinks, and lunch. If your child would like to buy some ice cream or treats, or for any additional excursions (e.g. to the Prater) please give them some pocket money. Early (8:30-9h) and/or late (16-17h) care possible upon request at a small extra fee.
